We have recently presented you with a range of cable trays with Magnelis® surface treatment, which is ideal for the distribution of cables to photovoltaic power plants, which are gradually filling the roofs of buildings. Photovoltaic power plants are most justified on buildings with a flat roof, and we would like to introduce support pads for cable trays or other auxiliary structures to exactly these places.
The PPS1 support pads are made of UV-resistant rubber granulate, into which the fastening elements are pressed. The toughness of the material and the bottom side of the pad provided with anti-slip aluminum foil predetermine the pads as an ideal support system for cable installations on roofs with PVC covering, without the need for additional materials to prevent damage of the covering.
The PPS1 L30_GZM support pad has a pressed rail with Magnelis surface treatment, into which the cable tray is attached directly with a sheet metal screw (e.g. STP 4.2X25 TX_ZNCR).
The support pad PPS1 3XM8_GMLZ has 3 pcs of nuts with M8 thread pressed in, which can be used to fasten the wire cable tray trough using the central hinge DZCZ and screw S 8X20, or to create feet for auxiliary structures.
